a day of win.

today was a day made of win!

first, it was a 2.40 day (the ONLY one in the week) and it was extremely short (somewhat, except for the mega chem periods due to the absence of a practical ): ). so it passed quite quickly, though tok was nonsense (as usual), with myself getting rather openly irritated and frustrated at the rigidity of terms inflicted by certain people. i will not talk about the only bump in the road today, because it does not deserve so much air time, though i am planning (with wenhao) to use tok presentation to hit back at authority. watch this space.

next, i got my nike human race race pack. which is full of awesome. the serial number, on the shirt, was particularly amazing (and freaky). it says 0625548, which shares the last 4 digits with my ic number, which is very creepy but awesome at the same time. it also triggered a typical reaction from my parents (EH BUY 4-D!)

third, i let my heart pwn my brain and financial sense and went all in on the tommy emmanuel concert tickets. went to alliance francais with tony to buy the tickets (i was bone broke after that), but we got seats in row G !!!! which is, halfway-ish? what i call awesomely perfect though 1 row nearer would have been equally amazing. but yes, first tier, and i'll be sitting with tony. how, kickass, is, that. so i got the ticket, which my parents gladly sponsored (XDXDXD) after i showed them videos of tommy emmanuel's greatness and skillz. so, yey, double victory.

also, tomorrow seems to be fun-ish. i'll probably miss pc because i need to do the survey, then there's swimming pe (ew.) but ohwell. then there's english a1 strand 2, WHICH IS FANTASTICALLY SLACK because iop was over since a few weeks ago. which means i have to bring my laptop to school, not very good since i have to bring my guitar as well. damn. i have also planned my ideal revision plan for the holidays! ie it is never going to happen. but it looks something like "RESEARCH NON-STOP. STUDY NON-STOP. DONT SLEEP. DONT DIE."

and i find it such an ironical paradox that oral defence for history EE comes AFTER the due date of the first draft of EE. quite quirky, really. that now, i have to defend my first draft. and if it's not a good topic/approved, guess what! i'll start on my 2nd draft ! which puts me "light-years" ahead of almost everyone because everyone hasnt really done their first draft, but i'll be on my 2nd ! how sad ): defending a choice of topic that has been extensively researched. life is sooo warped.
